Grapefruit is a characteristic citrus fruit of the Mediterranean climate and is grown in Turkey especially in the Mugla, Antalya and Mersin regions. With its distinctive slightly bitter taste and refreshing aroma, it is a staple of both breakfast tables and healthy nutrition programs. Baysar Agro selects the highest-quality, fully ripened grapefruits for its customers. Grapefruit is very rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, lycopene in pink and red varieties, and pectin. Its low glycemic index also makes it a preferred fruit in diabetic nutrition.
Grapefruit is generally consumed fresh; at breakfast it is often cut in half and eaten with a spoon. It is squeezed as juice, added to salads and pairs beautifully with seafood. Essential oils obtained from its peel are used in aromatherapy.
Caliber: selected and graded according to product type. Products are selected, graded and prepared for fresh consumption and professional supply.
